Parts of posters- The difference between Theatrical and Teaser.

Although I don't have to do this I thought it would benefit me as when creating, my poster I do not want to get the two mixed up and put in qualities that don't belong into it, hence it is rather brief. Here is one from an earlier film I analysed.

The two are completely different and it is obvious to point out what one is the teaser and which is not. The teaser trailer is mostly dominated by a picture and 4 words, whereas the theatrical poster contains the protagonists, location (in the background) and all the other things that I have analysed to do with posters. However looking at the themes more one poster (teaser) is orientated around the murderer and his/hers weapon where as the theatrical poster is more orientated around the victims. The teaser trailer also does not contain anything except for a slogan. I will have to keep these things in mind when creating my final poster.
