These are again all pictures from the Internet the first one is from twilight-new moon which uses the American date format, i decided to post it on here as i thought it would be useful for me to know. 3 of the above have mini catch-phrases that are mostly questions, often colloquial and rhetorical a efficient selling point ,for example by looking at 'WHERE WILL YOU BE' this is like saying you will watch the film like its the next big thing. Normally as with most of the examples above the release date is made more prominent than the mini slogan. 'BRING IT' again is colloquial but funny which again will make people want to see the film. Some may use controversial dates such as the Omen, this may scare viewers but also add some atmosphere and effect.
In my poster I have decided to have a mini slogan so this research was vital for me in regards to understanding the codes and conventions used to fulfil this.
