timing of teaser trailer.

After watching teaser trailers i thought it would be important for me to count of amount of shots it contains, from doing this i could then get a picture of how many i would have to get in mine before writing my story board, i also could work out the timings so i would know when to input a transition to crossover slides.

Information i found:
Teaser trailers at the least contains 5-50 shots.
Usually the less amount of shots that are used the trailer normally contains more title slides and narration. Hence by taking the median number this being approximately 27 shots, which i would roughly like to include in mine, so i would not be giving away too much of the story line.
As teaser trailers normally last about 2 minutes, composed of quick shots i can work out how long my shots will last and when to have a transition.

120 seconds/27 shots= every 4 seconds i would need to have a different shot/ transition, in order for my teaser trailer to resemble those currently on the market. By using this my product would also appear more professional and realistic.
